Post 2: Why I chose Journalism?

When I was a girl, my dream was be teacher, but when I has 17 years old, I did decide study Journalism, because at that time I saw this career like an opportunity to meet and sharing stories about the social problems and achievements.

I liked this career because it combines the reading and writing, that I have always been interested, so I decided to study journalism, was a hasty choice but I don´t regret, in that time I have learned most about the radio, Photojournalism and report.

The Journalism have a big labor field, although it´s nearly full. I would like to work in written press, and I hope can travel and meet most cultures, is something that I would like to make.

 Autobiography

I was born in 1999, one morning of March eighteen, in Santiago city. My name is Javiera Orellana Zapata. I live whit my parents, my brother and my sister, also I have two cats and one dog.

Since I was a girl, I did like more the music and history, they were my favourite subjects in my primary school years. My favorites hobbys are read and see movies or series.

In 2016, before end the secondary school I began to think about what I want to study in college, but I wasn´t sure, then I began search information about the topics of the university career and the journalism was the best, from my point view, because it combines the reading and actuality.
